Once upon a time there was Yasemine and a boy Who lived and laughed for three days with great joy. They wanted to stay friends forever But destiny didn’t want them to stay together.
When the boy left he said: “One day you will listen to one special voice. And Yasemine waited years for any kind of noise.
One day over the Galata Bridge over the stream.
Her father caught the most unusual animal she had ever seen. It was an enchanted golden fish That asked her if she wanted to make a wish.
She smiled and said there was a boy she wanted to meet So the fish told her to look at the water and jump into it. She grabbed a gold candy as sweet as it can be That took her away into the deep blue sea.
Cute starfishes cumbing her hair Had evil purposes to get her away from there. “He doesn’t like you” they yelled really loud And she was pushed to the flow to spin around and around.
Later on, fish-spiders tried to bite her as fast as
the huge octopuz full of tentacles
who grasped them really fast
And with a kiss he bubbled “Don’t drop behind because of your obstacles.”
And when it was starting to get a dark night
And Yasemine couldn’t see so far
Jellyfishes came and turned on their lights.
But it was already in the morning,
When suddenly, between fishes and wishes Yasemine felt something - She was being fished.
What was her surprise when she realized That she was no longer on the Galata heart And the candy she had been holding Was nothing more than a custard tart.
Then she felt fingers touching her hand It was the boy, pulling her back to land. They were by the river in a sunny place And Yasemine just said: “Finally I’m seeing your face.”
In Lisbon they huged each other with so much tend;
They didn’t want to come apart,
They wanted an happy end.
