Graphical House, 222 Clyde Street: Former office and administration for the GPMU (Graphical, Paper & Media Union) in Glasgow. With Morrisons Bar at the front ground level and the Riverside Club to the rear. Currently the entire building is empty. TYPE: pseudo-brutalist 1960s

Campbell family Samantha and her daughter Sarah became homeless after Mr. Campbell passed away, and with no close family it was hard to cope, not only financially but also emotionally

Gordon family Have had to leave their house after a fire that destroyed their family home. None of their friends have space for a family that size. They were specifically referred to Graphical House for support

GRAPHICAL HOUSE Temporary Accommodation Workshops and activities like art, drama, yoga and dance to engage temporary residents and boost their self-esteem. Children specific activities are also offered as well as free childcare High quality training and education to prepare temporary residents for work CV writing, interview skills and education to help temporary residents find jobs Housing advice and access to decent permanent homes or even a stopping point whilst being processed for a council flat

Brightly coloured baskets dotted around the space adding touches of colour whilst encouraging residents to take clothes up to roof to hang dry rather than use the tumble dryers available
