Shelving that slots into curved walls Homogenisation of the UK High Street and the remote nature of online shopping have arguably created a desire for authentic shops, selling specific goods in beautiful, carefully tended retail environments staffed by people who delight in what they are selling. You are asked to research the specific qualities of such a shop, and by uncovering the essential and expected properties of a particular type of specialist retail space, suggest how it may be approached in a fresh and stimulating way.

For customers who wish to try on glasses, a full length shop window at the front of shop is available, creating a fun dynamic as passer-bys may see this because of the two way glass

When passing by the store the comical appearance of customers trying on glasses at the shop front draws people in while the curved walls draw customers to the back of the store towards the graphic at the end

Glasses are displayed throughout the store on white top lit shelves

Customers are encouraged to use the in store technology which allows customers to take photographs of themselves and try glasses on virtually
