Caroline Nelson

Caroline is ever hopeful that she will someday catch up with all the stuff she has to do. Wow, I've done a lot more than I think sometimes. Set up own business in 98, opened shop in 2000 and workshop in 2002, decided there was more to life than work, so went back to making in my shed and applied into teaching...like I always wanted to anyway. Also lectured in Jewellery and silversmithing. I was Art teacher for the islands of Unst and Fetlar for four n a half years, where there were many ups n downs, school closure threats twice and then the possibility of having to work between islands, that drove me mad. Now we've moved to Moray and another position of art teacher. This time I'm not on my own and not in charge, whoohoo, but, there you go, school closure threats again now here. Wouldn't consider myself political but this is bloody ridiculous, this is a hard fecking job at times. Married to Sandy Nelson, all round entertainer...Art prostitute is how he puts it.
