Engaged Engagements are lots of fun! It gives us a chance to get to know each other a little better and it is a great opportunity to get used to the camera (if you aren’t already). Sessions are laid back, relaxed and never stressful. Pick up to two locations and let’s have some fun!

Boudoir, a French term, literally translates to “a lady’s bedroom or private sitting room.” When it is paired with photography, it takes on a whole new meaning. Boudoir photography celebrates the goddess in you, the splendor and grace of the female form by capturing curves and sensuality. These intimate photographs can range from fully clothed to tasteful nudes but always have a sense of allure and intense beauty. Imagine your fiance’s surprise as he opens these exquisite photographs after saying “I do...” Whether the album is delivered on the morning of the wedding or on the honeymoon night, it is sure to please him.

FAQ What is your style of photography ?
My style is primarily photo journalistic. Photojournalism is capturing a moment which is not planned. Moments are fleeting and one of a kind. Carol keeps her eye peeled for unique details while anticipating when the best moment will happen. She is hands off, unobtrusive, allowing the day to naturally unfold. She does believe though that there is a time and place for gorgeous, casually posed images of the bride and groom together, so she won’t stop you and make you pose while cutting the cake, she would like about an hour or so alone with both of you (if possible) sometime during the wedding day to create some images without the wedding party or guests looking on.
Do you still take posed family images?
Absolutely. Carol strongly believes in those family images, as they are records of your entire family at an important time in their history together. A few weeks before your wedding she will send you a questionnaire covering the details of the day and among the other questions is a list of traditional posed images. You will have space to write in your own additional groupings. PLEASE bear in mind that the hallmark of Carol’s coverage is journalistic and real-time, so a very long list of posed images will hinder her ability to cover the event in a documentary manner. Posed family portraits are generally scheduled immediately after the ceremony.
Is Carol the only photographer?
Yes. Carol is the sole primary photographer. Does she have an assistant? Another photographer? Carol works with an assistant who does some second shooting and assists with lighting when needed.
What if I would like a second photographer?
I work with a second photographer in addition to my assistant when a wedding or event requires 2 very different points of view. This will depend on the size and venue of the event and your personal needs. Don’t hesitate to discuss this option for an additional fee.
How
long does it take to get our products and
images? Online galleries are posted within four to six weeks of the wedding date. Digital files are available within six to eight weeks of the wedding date. Upon final approval of album designs most albums are ready for delivery within 12 weeks. How many pictures will we get? The number of photographs taken depends on many things - the number of guests, hours of coverage, types of events. You can expect around 400 - 600 images, but often it’s much, much higher.
Do we get to keep the negatives?
We provide the high-resolution digital files (the digital equivalent of negatives) with all collections. We do retain the copyright to the images and the right to use them for promotional purposes, competition, professional review, and so on. You will get a written release that will allow you to make unlimited personal reproductions and copies for your friends and families.
Do you come to the rehearsal?
Rehearsal dinner coverage is available if you’d like to add it to your collection; otherwise Carol does not attend the rehearsals.
