Carolyn Koos

Holding a Ph.D. from Illinois State University, Dr. Carolyn Koos possesses educational administration licenses in Iowa, Illinois, and New Jersey. During more than 10 years as a lead administrator for pre-kindergarten through eighth grade institutions, Dr. Koos demonstrated an aptitude for crafting innovative educational initiatives that broadened the capabilities of school personnel and precipitated high student performance. After a tenure as chief administrator at Marquette Academy in Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Koos took on the position of principal for Costa Catholic Academy in Galesburg, Illinois. To cultivate effective practices among the school’s staff, she facilitated several professional education opportunities, such as Project CRISS instruction and provided a Ruby Payne’s, Framework for Understanding Poverty workshop.
