STYLE TIPS: The most important style tip is to wear clothes that fit; not so tight you can’t move or they are gaping open at the buttons and not so baggy you have no shape. Be careful to avoid snaps or buckles or fasteners as they may scratch the baby’s delicate skin. Avoid wearing bold colors as they will cast color on your newborn’s skin. FAQs Q: May I have ALL images from my session? A: Yes. I professionally cull out all blinks, out of focus, goofy expressions and such. The rest are yours with the purchase of a full session. Q: Do you edit all of the images in my gallery? A: Yes. Basic edits have been completed on all gallery images. Skin retouching, baby acne removal, peeling skin removal, head swaps and such can be completed per image for an additional fee. These types of sessions are all about documenting the natural look of your newborn, dried milk on their lips, unclipped fingernails and all! Q: Can I make my own prints? A: Yes. Print permission is provided for all purchased sessions with easy links to MPix for printing. Q: Will you travel for a session? A: Yes. Locations within 30 minutes are included at no charge with purchase of all full session. I will happily travel further but additional fees will apply. Q: What methods of payment can you accept for my retainer and balance? A: Cash or good check or I’ll invoice you conveniently and securely for each through PayPal Me. Q: What do you mean by lifestyle images? A: Good question! Traditional portraits have the subject looking at the camera and smiling. We may capture that eye contact and smile if it happens naturally, but lifestyle is about capturing life-inspired moments. The little things you treasure about your newborn and family is what we will work to capture; how they cradle perfectly into your arms, how small their hands or feet are in comparison to you, your favorite snuggle spot and even intimate and natural moments such as breastfeeding.

ONCE YOUR SESSION IS COMPLETE: You’ll be provided access to your own online gallery of all edited images from your session as well as your complimentary, custom designed portrait book if you purchased the Ultimate or Classic Newborn session.
