WHAT WILL WE LEARN TODAY

Life at the Early Childhood Campus is a constant conversation of why. Whether exploring and discovering signs and symbols in the world around us or learning to understand the value of speaking and listening, our early childhood program is all about asking big questions and nurturing curiosity.

Kindergarten has been busy tending to their garden while learning about the life cycles of plants and butterflies. The big room has been transformed into a post office for social and fine motor skills play for all ages.

“Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.” - Howard Zinn

Community is a theme that is integrated into all we do at CDS. This year our Kindergarten students partnered with We Help Two, a sock company that is trying to make a difference both globally and locally. Students sold packs of fun, funky socks to families and staff at CDS. For every 100 packs sold, We Help Two would be able to help a baby through the 4-year process to correct their club foot. CDS Kindergarteners sold 229 pairs of socks!
