The word 'spot' has a connotation to it, an intimate view on the experience of a place. Spots are places meant for people to find, meant to be shared, and meant to be held close to the heart.

Union Bay

There's a wooden bench, sturdy and comfortable, that I like to sit on here, and watch the lake Birds love to bathe here, ducks mostly, but I saw a bald eagle once. I love to come here and just forget about everything except gentle water noises and the occasional overhead airplane

It's rare to find a minimum wage job that you actually enjoy, but I loved getting to make drinks and talk to customers all day There's something about coming home after a shift smelling like coffee with new stories and memories of the day It's a place I still visit to have a conversation with someone who'll listen

Big Bend

Even after living in Texas for 6 years, I never really connected with the state until I went out West. The mountains carved by the Rio Grande create life, a harsh desert life that still manages to find a way. Living is care-free and abundant, and people stick together.
