biography Christopher James Glade (tenor) is from Carol Stream, Illinois. Over the past 3 years at Carthage he has worked with Professor Greg Berg in private voice lessons, as well as working every semester since sophomore year in the Opera Workshop class also taught by professor Berg. Through opera workshop, he has sung arias and duets as the characters Nemorino (L’Elisir D’amore), and Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), as well as multiple characters in operas and pieces written by Professor Berg. He is currently in his third year of Carthage Choir, the Lincoln Chamber Singers and his fourth semester of Opera workshop performances, and Absolutely loving all of it. Christopher is currently pursuing a Music Education major at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He is most prominently looking at either teaching a high school choral director position, or a general education position, hopefully somewhere around his hometown. He is very excited to start teaching once he finishes his Undergraduate degree.
thank yous I want to thank Professor Greg Berg for being an Absolutely Phenomenal voice teacher, mentor, and friend for the past three years. Without you I would be nowhere near the skill level I am at today, I am so incredibly grateful to have been able to learn from you.

These homelands reside along the southwest shores of Michigami, North America’s largest system of freshwater lakes. We honor with gratitude the land itself, and the people who have stewarded it throughout the generations. Many Indigenous peoples thrive in this place—alive and strong, and this calls us to commit to continuing to learn how to be better stewards of the land we inhabit as well.
