biography Chloe Hilby is a junior theatre major with a double minor in educational studies and music. She has had the privilege of being in many shows at Carthage College including ROMEO AND JULIET WALK INTO A BAR, BLOOD SISTERS, FLYING AND FALLING, and PATIENCE AND FORTITUDE. Her plan after college is to work in children’s theatre with the goal of creating a positive environment for young actors to study theatre. She would like to thank all of her guest artists for their contributions to the recital, as there is no way she would be here without them. She would also like to thank Melissa Cardamone for accompanying her. Lastly, she would like to thank her parents and sister for supporting her all these years and never missing a performance, even if it means watching the live streams from 1,100 miles away.

Fine Arts at Carthage acknowledges that the land on which our building stands is part of the traditional Potawatomi, Sioux, Peoria, Kickapoo, and Miami peoples past, present, and future. These homelands reside along the southwest shores of Michigami, North America’s largest system of freshwater lakes. We honor with gratitude the land itself, and the people who have stewarded it throughout the generations. Many Indigenous peoples thrive in this place—alive and strong, and this calls us to commit to continuing to learn how to be better stewards of the land we inhabit as well.
