performer biographies Massimo Manfredini Massimo is a Junior Music Theatre major with a self-designed minor in Creative Arts Education. He has been a student of Gregory Berg throughout his college career and is so honored to have been taught how to excel vocally by such an amazing teacher. Massimo has appeared in a number of Carthage productions including SWEET CHARITY (Officer Monty/Ensemble), RIDE THE CYCLONE (Karnak), and WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN (Ivan). He would like to thank his teachers, friends, and family for all the support they’ve given him along the way. He is so happy to put on this performance with his amazing voice instructor and wonderful friends and hopes that you enjoy it! Massimo would like to extend massive thanks to Gregory Berg for being such a wonderful, inspirational teacher and friend. He would also like to thank Lane, Chloe, Brian, Rayven, and Hannah for putting in the time to bring this production to life and for being amazing friends. Finally he would like to thank his parents for always believing in him, his entire family for supporting him in his musical endeavors, and all of his friends who have encouraged him and are by his side throughout the journey. He sends all his love to the people who helped bring him here. Lane Breimhorst Lane Breimhorst is a junior music theatre major studying to become an ASL interpreter for the theatre. His most recent credits include Carthage College’s performance of SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD and CHILDREN OF A LESSER GOD (Orin) at Hope summer Repertory Theatre. He is currently working on PATIENCE AND FORTITUDE (Oro) at Carthage. He would like to thank Massimo for allowing him to sing this duet with him, and hopes that everyone who comes to see the recital is impressed with his hard work! Chloe Hilby Chloe Hilby is a junior Theatre Major with a double minor in Secondary Education and Music. She is currently working on PATIENCE AND FORTITUDE at Carthage College and has been in other shows including BLOOD SISTERS, ROMEO AND JUlIET WALK INTO A BAR, and FLYING AND FALLING. She is very excited for this opportunity to perform with her dear friend, Max, for a project that is so important to him and close to his heart. Brian Dean Brian is currently a junior Vocal Performance major and Massimo’s roommate. At the moment, he is studying private voice under Gregory Berg. He has been in various performances at Carthage, such as the Carthage 2021 Honors Recital as well as local and regional touring with the Carthage Choir and Carthage Philharmonic. Brian and Massimo have known each other and have been great friends since they met in their Freshman year. Brian is incredibly grateful to be back up on stage again with him and continue working together for the next couple years. He’d also like to thank all his friends and family for continuing to support him for many years.


performer biographies Rayven Craft Rayven Craft is a junior Music Theatre major. She has been seen in performances at Carthage including FLORA AND THE RED MENACE, SWEET CHARITY, FIGHTING FOR HOME, and the fall dance show AWAY FROM THE MIRROR. She is honored for the opportunity to collaborate with her dear friend Massimo while performing one of their favorite pieces. Hannah Czaplicki Hannah is a junior Music Theatre major and is so honored to be a part of Massimo’s recital. She is currently playing Ilona Ritter in the Music Theatre Workshop’s production of SHE LOVES ME. Her past Carthage credits include SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD (Ensemble), WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN (Assistant Stage Manager), ROMEO AND JULIET WALK INTO A BAR (Meghan/Department Chair), and performing in various projects for the Directing Scenes. She would like to thank Max for being such an awesome friend and for allowing her to be a part of this. She also thanks her friends and family for their endless love and support.
