CASADY SCHOOL

MISSION STATEMENT

Casady School develops excellence, confidence, and integrity in students and prepares them with the skills and knowledge that serve as the foundation for success. Our Beliefs We believe an exceptional education should cultivate those habits of mind and character that enable individuals to flourish at each stage of life. Casady School’s proven college-preparatory curriculum focuses on the full development of each student, in mind, body, and spirit. We believe the mind should be nourished and developed; therefore, our academic program provides our students the challenges and opportunities necessary to develop critical and creative thinking skills, the ability to plan, evaluate and implement actions, and most importantly, the support to nurture their passions. We believe competitive athletics and physical education are central to the development of leadership and teamwork as well as self-confidence and respect for others. Our students are participants rather than simply spectators. Casady provides healthy and competitive opportunities that are critical to developing an appreciation for wellness and fitness in each student. We believe strong spiritual and moral values provide an essential foundation for one’s life; therefore, the School provides instruction in the basic tenets of the Christian faith as expressed in the Episcopal tradition. Central to the School are daily Chapel services and instruction in theology and ethics. Casady embraces individuals regardless of belief and values an understanding of all faiths.

02

As such, we help our students succeed by challenging and supporting them in every aspect of their educational experience. The result is that our students are given every opportunity to realize their potential and use it to make a difference in their community.

CYCLONE BOOSTER CLUB SPORTS GUIDE Dear Cyclone Families, It’s an exciting year, sports fans! Starting this fall, Casady began competing in the OSSAA, while keeping our storied Boys’ Volleyball and Field Hockey programs in the SPC, allowing for the best level of competitive, academic, and athletic balance. Booster Club’s goal is to support our student-athletes and the athletic department as best we can during this new endeavor. At the same time, we will continue to improve School spirit and enthusiasm for athletics, not only for our student-athletes, but for parents and the Casady Community as a whole. That’s where you come in! Join Booster Club and your membership dollars will go towards the highest priority need. Just scan the QR code below and join Booster Club today. We have a few changes to Booster Club this year. Please take a look at the benefits for each membership level, as they have changed. We have added Booster Club branded gifts for several levels. VIP Parking will now only be available as a benefit to $1000 Super Cyclone and $2000 Hall of Fame memberships as demand has greatly outweighed availability. Sports Guide will be available each season with digital copies emailed to you and found right on our website. Due to the lack of demand, we will no longer offer Spirit Squares in Sports Guide. For more information, or to direct fund equipment, please contact the Cyclone Booster Club at cyclonebooster@casady.org or Club President Allison Currie at allisoncurrie@ymail.com.

Officers

All parents at Casady are automatically members of the CPO, an organization that has flourished for more than 50 years. Through the CPO, more than 100,000 volunteer hours have been logged in the last decade alone. The CPO has a rich history of supporting the mission of Casady School and fostering a closeknit School Community. The CPO’s mission is to support our School through a dualistic approach of service and fundraising. We have raised and gifted more than $3 million to Casady, putting us in the top 10 donors in the life of the School. Every year, the money we raise through these efforts is gifted back to the School to purchase items requested by the teachers to enhance their classrooms, support faculty professional development, donate to the Annual Fund, and more. Perhaps the greatest benefit is ours as we have the opportunity to be active participants in our children’s experiences and to enjoy the camaraderie of our Casady Community.
