Design concepts paralleled the start of their marriage, and the clients welcomed their first child just after project completion. Incorporating distinct style elements important to the client, Bolshakova designed a home that feels classic, yet functional, and undoubtedly sleek.
The living room celebrates a stunning reconstructed staircase, while décor details nod to the most bespoke of luxury interiors. The crystal chandelier celebrates the remarkably high ceilings, which warranted a full reinforcement to support the 150kg chandelier piece, and the lightflooded space boasts ample room for lounging or entertaining.
Musing on a predominately white interior, the home seamlessly blends wooden elements with individual colour palettes for each distinct area. Deep blue’s sweep the living room while touches of green encompass the kitchen, and a soft vanilla plays with light in the charming child’s bedroom. The kitchen exhibits exquisite marble with refined furnishings and windows are elegantly outfitted by textiles from the Hermes Jungle Life Collection.
The home’s generous windows play with natural sunlight during the day – a constant source of essential inspiration in the home - and sumptuous lighting from brands such as Baccarat and Lladro bring familial warmth into the evening hours.
The wardrobe room lends itself to functional yet aesthetic organisation, creating a streamlined start to any day ahead. Bathrooms again echo the elegant marbles seen throughout the home, where French house Pierre Frey’s ‘Pampa’ print stylishly pulls the space together in a stunning and elegant finish.
