Adding a special wall treatment to a room can enhance its size, create a focal point or give definition to a specific area. Here are some creative new products that are designed to transform your walls or architecture and add real designer style to any space. Ashley Spencer is an artist and founder of Casart Coverings with her partners, sister Lindsey Wood and mother Lorre Lei Jackson. She calls her product “slipcovers for your walls”! You'll not only fall in love with the website (casartcoverings.com), but will find wall coverings printed on a canvas-like material that are removable and reusable. They are self-adhesive and applied to the wall after peeling from a backing. The product line includes hand-printed decorative finishes and murals. Custom commissions are also available through ashley-spencer.com.

Japanese Maple tiles from the Fossil Collection are made of a unique blend of flexible fabric and gypsum cement, and then sealed with an acrylic finish. They are water resistant, and each 18x24-inch tile is pre-trimmed for easy installation with standard adhesives. The effect is original; the collection, unique.

The multicolored glass patterns invite children to draw on them with a regular marker. They can be easily cleaned with a chalkboard eraser or window cleaner. The product features clear panels of tempered safety glass with a choice of 11 patterns printed on the back. Kids Glass was originally designed as a positive distraction for children in educational or healthcare environments, but can also be used at home as a wall treatment, room divider or table top. Kids Glass is fabricated in standard sizes up to 77x144 inches. Custom sizes are available.
