People have been looking to the stars for thousands of years. Before television or the internet there was the night sky. Stories were passed down about the stars, constellations and planets. Entire mythologies, religions and schools of thought were born from people observing what was happening up above them. The ancient Egyptians were fascinated by the sun and invented a symbol that represented its cyclical nature. The Greeks would later call it the Ouroboros.
