Back Pack Day Pre-Reflection- Casey Walker
Reflect on the group process during the planning portion of this assignment.
The group process during the planning of this presentation was fluid and smooth. Nicki was geared up and excited about the back pack day awareness campaign and took charge early. She organized the information that was needed to be obtained for the group and played a major role in the guiding of the presentation ideas, description, and roles. The assignment instructions were uploaded to a Google document that permitted all seven group members to contribute ideas and keep open communication on the planning process.
Discuss how you see yourself fitting into the actual presentation of Back Pack Day information
I imagine that I will be a good facilitator for gathering people to come to our table. I have worked many similar booths in the past, as well as, working in a restaurant I have learned how to engage people in hearing a short speech about what you have to say. In addition, I have become well-practiced in describing information that individuals might not care to be bothered with in a fun, professional, and entertaining way so that they are encouraged to listen and participate in the subsequent action.

Share your thoughts on the purpose of Back Pack Day Awareness 
Back Pack Day Awareness is an important component in the realm of occupational therapy. It is something that many individuals do not pay attention to and fall in to bad routines and habits thoughtlessly. Many individuals do not pay attention to the strain and wear and tear that occurs due to poor ergonomics in bag, purse, briefcase, and/or backpack carrying. It is important to educate as many individuals as possible about the potential risks of these poor body mechanics and ways to change it so that they can prevent injury
