Therapy
Occupations are meaningful daily activities that individuals want and need to do. Occupational therapists help individuals achieve success in these occupations through the use of therapeutic activities. Services include an individualized evaluation in which the person’s goals are determined, customized intervention to improve the person’s ability to perform daily activities and reach the goals, and an outcomes reevaluation to ensure goals are being met throughout therapy.
Living Life To Its Fullest CHILDREN: Helping children to participate in school and social situations. HEALTHY LIVING: Educating individuals on their health conditions and ways to optimize their health and well being. MENTAL HEALTH: Helping individuals understand and overcome mood disorders, substance abuse and regain full participation in life. BUILDING LIFE SKILLS: Teaching people how to successfully perform life skills such as grocery shopping, resume writing, and computer skills.
DISABILITY AND REHABILITATION:
Providing support for individuals suffering from chronic pain, injuries and disabilities to return to work and increase their performance in the things they want to do. WORK RELATED: Working with people’s job related injuries , such as carpal tunnel, and businesses to access the ergonomics in the job setting. AGING: Providing support for older adults experiencing physical and cognitive changes.
