Area Communities A complete interactive map for the entire Valley of the Sun can be found online at www.cashmanpartners.com.
Wonderful things await in the Valley of the Sun. It is truly the high desert, and the “center of town has moved much farther north than it used to be years ago. Back in the day, when Lincoln Road was considered an outpost, people really had to think twice about moving up to some of these pristine desert communities. Incredible mountain vistas, specimen cacti, and lush resorts are in the heart of this strikingly beautiful valley of ours. A fabulous assortment of dining, shopping, recreation and of course the many signature events we host including The WM Phoenix Open Golf Tournament and our Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction which are big draws for those considering their residence here. Like to Be in the Great Outdoors?
Spending time outdoors is a big part of our lives here, and the extensive network of trails and mountain preserves provides area residents with a wide assortment of choices when it comes to hiking, biking and camping. The Scottsdale McDowell Sonoran Preserve is the 'backyard' of North Scottsdale - consisting of over 30,000 acres of trails. This preserve is the largest in the country with easy access from several trail heads, including The Scottsdale Gateway, along Thompson Peak Parkway. There is something for everyone here, from a short hike with your dog to a 5-hour trek to Tom’s Thumb. For those who like to enjoy water sports and recreation on the lakes, you won’t be disappointed. And if you want to take in something really unique, visit our Arizona Desert Botanical Gardens to see our local flora and fauna. They have wonderful ongoing artistic and cultural events there as well. Our Phoenix Zoo is also a great option for a weekend visit with the family. Butterfly Wonderland & the OdySea Aquarium have become favorites since opening, and offers visitors up close and personal experiences with these colorful creatures. So much to do here!
