Casimir Research School
Casimir Research School is a joint graduate school between Leiden University and Delft University of Technology. The research program is developed by groups at the Kavli Institute of Nanoscience at Delft and at the Leiden Institute of Physics (LION). It has a focus on research themes in physics which interact strongly with developments and skills in other disciplines (interdisciplinary physics). The research school is named after H.B.G. Casimir (1909-2000), professor in Theoretical Physics at Leiden University, whose involvement in fundamental as well as applied physics left many traces in the Dutch scientific landscape.
