PALOS VERDES PENINSULA HOLIDAY PARADE OF LIGHTS With a crowd ranging from 4,000-6,000 visitors ever year, the 16th Annual Palos Verdes Peninsula Holiday Parade of Lights took place on Saturday, December 6th. The “Parade of Lights” theme is designed to showcase the unique character of the Palos Verdes Peninsula and for the 10th year in a row, Shorewood Realtors has proudly sponsored 7 of the 8 High School Marching Bands. This continued commitment to sponsorship provides the opportunity for both local and inner city school marching bands to perform for the Palos Verdes Community. With a pre-party mixer starting at 4pm, the real festivities kicked off at 6pm when onlookers were dazzled by Floats, Equestrian Units, Marching Bands, Classic Cars, Drill Team, Community and Civic Groups (Palos Verdes Girl Scouts and Boys Scouts). The parade was featured in such media as KOST 103.5 FM, The Daily Breeze, Palos Verdes Peninsula News, The Beach Reporter, Peninsula People Magazine, Shorewood Realtors proudly sported 7 of the Banners in the parade.
