Week 1 Attractor Points
Exercise 1 Introducing basic Grasshopper commands to create grids and shapes, then varying their inputs according to the distance to a control point
Exercise 2 Taking Exercise 1 furhter, attempting to have two points influence the shapes by averaging the distance between the two points to the centre of each circle
Exercise 3 Creating and dividing surfaces from curves to acheive a smiliar outcome to that of Exercise 1
Week 2 Heatherwick Cathedral
Exercise 1 Creating lofts from four curves to create a box, then exploding and dividing the surfaces to obtain points. Lines, and subsequently pipes, are created from these points using each point’s normal vector
Exercise 2 Rather than creating lines using the normals of points on the lofted surface, they were made using a sphere placed at the centre of the lofted geometry. Then, pipes were made from the intersections with the lofted surface and the lines’ end points
Exercise 3 Similarly to Exercise 3, lines were made off a sphere, however rather than turning them into pipes between their end points and their intersection with the loft, they were made between intersections with two lofts of the same shape
