These daughters from the Contender son that we purchased from the Jensen program are proving to be phenomenal cows. Just take a look at the cow history on this one, and it will leave no doubt. The Crystal cow has been solid in our pasture for 13 years. Bred to calve Nov 23 to Crutcher’s Ironman 113 (P44335814). The Ironman calves have been coming out top notch. What an opportunity, one of the last Crystal females we had born on our farm. With a pasture full of these girls, and a full sib who has made her way to the donor pen, we thought this would be a great opportunity for someone else to get a start with these genetics. Bred to Cruthers Ironman 113 (P44335814) due 12/24. After seeing some pictures of the Ironman calves already on the ground this mating is looking to be quite promising.

Here is a cow that has done it right for us year in and year out. Goldie has a perfect udder and she has clicked with every calf she has had. This year, I decided to AI her to JDH AH Benton 8G ET on 5-13-2024. She was the tuned out with Langfords 2001 from 5-20-2024 through 6-1-2024, then with Crutchers Ruger 2038 ET from 6-1-2024 through 8-20-2024. She was preg checked to the AI date, and how exciting is that? Benton semen has been bringing around $200/straw in auctions and there is very few opportunities left to get these genetics. Buy with confidence with this cow. Consigned by Crutcher Livestock, Montrose, Illinois, 815-289-2855

This beautifully made Hometown 27A cow can generate. Her first calf ended up being our best two-year-old pair this year. Miley has the power and look to fit into any breeding program. She sells safe in calf to TJ 2296 Bandwagon 903 (44036624) who was the Champion Bull at the Iowa State Fair. We have started calving out his daughters and have yet to be disappointed. Due 3/25/25. A really good bred cow that we bought out of the Shingle Oaks program. She brings with her a great pedigree and is a no miss cow. Should calve around sale day to the Ironman bull from the Crutcher Program. With our boys showing and retaining their own heifers it is time for us to make room for them to expand.
