Having toured the country for over ten years with Washington Green Fine Art, Paul Horton is one of the most popular contemporary artists in the UK today. Horton’s work has built a loyal audience, one that seems to reinvest in both the art and the artist with each new collection. Horton’s portfolio has drawn comparisons to the subject matter of Lowry, the methods and materials of Degas, and the myth that allows Chagall to so vividly explode. But his work is identifiable, in both presentation and subject; there are clear and constant truths that belong only to Horton and his audience. This collection of limited edition art by Paul Horton, is the accompanying collection to Love & Hope, a prestigious museum exhibition, showcasing over 80 original pastels, charcoals and oils - opening at the Waterhall, Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery in October 2013.

These characters are typical Horton types, solitary and from a bygone age, romantic in their way.
