Katy Spong ‘Seen, Part Imagined’ Paintings and Original Prints Inspired by Nature Katy Spong has titled this collection of her paintings, ‘Seen, Part Imagined’. Although she is dealing with traditional aspects of composition, quality of light and the accurate observation of nature, she is also aware that they represent a heighted vision of nature. These paintings are influenced by the powerful cycles of nature and represent memories of movement, colour and the relationship of birds and other animals to each other and to the fragile natural environment around Loch Linnhe and Appin.
