Explore our castle ruins and formal gardens as you try to spot our resident fairies. Can you find them all? Luckily our reception team have a handy map to help!

Afternoon Tea at Castlemartyr Resort is a luxurious experience, served overlooking the formal gardens. Children’s Afternoon Tea is also available, served with personalised cookies, bite size treats and milkshake or hot chocolate.

Enjoy the formal gardens and be lured by a game of giant Jenga, Connect 4 or Croquet on our Mitchell’s Lawn in the warm Summer months

Enjoy a selection of walks around the Castlemartyr Resort grounds and surrounding woodlands. Why not visit the nearby Ballyoughterra Church ruins, complete with historic carvings and Templar graves.

Why not take a complimentary Castlemartyr Resort kite for a fly around the 13th century castle ruins or Mitchell’s lawn?

Take on our Ron Kirby designed 18 hole inland links style course. Set across the 220 acres of Castlemartyr Resort, the 6,728 yard, Par 72 poses a challenge for players of all levels.

Enjoy breathtaking views of the Irish Sea on an invigorating walk along the Ballycotton cliffs. A 7km cliff walk with a number of spots to stop for breaks and stunning photographs.

East Cork has a number of wonderful Blue Flag beaches, many of which are within a 15 minute drive of Castlemartyr Resort. Why not escape with a picnic?

Set on 100 acres on the scenic Fota Island the park is not like an ordinary zoo; here you can come face to face with free roaming animals & birds from all parts of the world. Each visit is sure to bring its own fantastic memories.

This wonderful surf school runs beginners Surf Lessons for all age groups and abilities to cover all the basic knowledge and skills needed to ride the waves. No experience is needed for a great time!

From exhilarating fun rides around Ballycotton Island, to a guided tour of the Ballycotton lighthouse or fishing for mackerel in Ballycotton Bay, there’s something for everyone in this beautiful coastal village.
