Castle Park School End Of Year Message 21st June 2023

From Mr McKernan (Principal, Whole School)

Dear Parents,

End of Year Message

As we come to the end of another remarkable academic year, I would take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt appreciation for your support of our school.

In my briefing to the all-staff team, I noted, as educators, how we often focus on the role of teachers in shaping young minds And rightly so, as their profound influence is undeniable However, it is equally important to acknowledge and celebrate the incredible contributions made by our exceptional support staff Our school totals close to sixty-five staff, and each contribution is equally valued and essential to ensuring a nurturing environment conducive to learning, growth, and success.

To our cleaning staff, who have worked tirelessly to maintain clean and safe spaces, ensuring that our pupils and staff can thrive in an environment that promotes health and well-being Their diligent efforts often go unnoticed, but they are the cornerstone of our school's functionality and deserve our deepest appreciation

To our administrative staff, who are the backbone of our school, providing the vital support that keeps our school running smoothly. Their organisational skills, attention to detail, and exceptional multitasking abilities enable our teachers to focus on their core mission of educating children.

To our Food and Nutrition Department, who nourish both body and spirit in line with our ethos; " mens sana in corpore sano " Through the delicious meals they prepare for your children, along with the excellent health and hygiene compliance they achieve, their efforts foster a sense of belonging and community that is truly invaluable.

As we come to a close of another memorable year, I thank the community of parents in the FCP who positively impact the community I am also grateful to the voluntee tireless and often thankless stewardship of this With appreciation and warmest regards,
