News from the Classroom - Kindergarten 1

The Summer Term in Kindergarten 1 has been enjoyable and action-packed, filled with many engaging activities. We explored our ‘Zoo’ theme, where each child picked their favourite zoo animal for our Classroom Zoo. Additionally, we had the opportunity to explore the fascinating underwater world with our ‘Under the Sea’ theme The children thoroughly enjoyed creating their favourite sea creatures, and our colourful underthe-seaworldwasproudlydisplayedonthecorridor.

Thanks to the glorious weather, we have had plenty of opportunities to venture outdoors and make the most of our bikes, scooters and playground. During this time outside, the children also enjoyed water and sand play, incorporating our sea animal friendstoalignwithourtheme.

A highlight of our term was the visit from Wooly Farm. It was a very exciting experience for all the children. They were able to feed a lamb and brush his coat. They were also able to hold some small animals and even exchange high-fives with a friendly duck For some extra fun, a chicken was placed on their heads, which some children thought was veryfunny.

Another highlight was our annual Sports Day It was wonderful to see the children p
