AbraCor General Repair contains a combination of polymers and metals that provide exceptionally strong bonds to many substrates, including: steels, cast iron, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, copper alloys, wood, concrete, many rubbers, plastics and fiberglass. With General Repair composite, parts can be re-built to new specifications, leaving repaired areas exceptionally strong.

General Repair composite is easily machined using common metal working equipment. Additionally, General Repair cures at temperatures down to 32°F (0°C), so repairs may be made in-situ in adverese weather conditions.

Eutectic’s cold-repair composites, made with highly advanced ceramics, carbides, polymers and other innovative materials, provide optimum wear resistance and dramatically improve the service life of coastly machinery.

2) Combine entire contents of resin and hardener, then mix until uniform, streak-free, dark gray color is achieved.

Coverage:

0.68 lb per ft2@ 1/16” thick 13.2 in3 per lb

3) Spread evenly over a clean, dry roughend surface with a putty knife, spatula or towel. Press the material into cracks and voids to eliminate air bubbles. Spread and shape within 20 minutes; initial cure is about 30 minutes at 75°F (24°C).

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: 1) Remove oil, grease and scale from the surface to be coated. To ensure optimum adhesion, roughen by grit blasting to achieve a 0.002-0.003 inch profile. For smaller areas, roughening with a grinding wheel or course sandpaper is acceptable.
