Kelly’s Racing’s new CEO John Crennan has put to end any further speculation of the teams allegiance once the car of the future is introduced in 2013.
“I’m getting tired of these people putting out this line – it would disturb our goal of replacing HRT as the main Holden team at the end of their contract.”
“We want to stay loyal to Holden,” Crennan told Auto Action.

BREAK THE
DROUGHT!
The Australian Wallabies are the 2011 Castrol EDGE Tri Nations champions after defeating the New Zealand All Blacks 25-20 at Suncorp Stadium.
to Kurtley Beale for the try, however tensions remained high for the final 20 minutes after Cooper failed to increase the gap to a converted try.
The win was nineteen years in the making and the title 10 years, with the Australians last winning on Queensland soil against the All Blacks in 1992 and last taking the Tri Nations title in 2001.
Despite some swift offensive moves by the New Zealanders, the Australians held strong with the score line at 25-20 in the Australians favour after the full time buzzer.
The game broke the drought in more ways than one – Brisbane’s wettest conditions in some time added another element to the game and ensured the ground marker was kept busy – having to repaint the ground five times before the match! The Wallabies started the scoring with a Quade Cooper penalty goal in the fifth minute of the game and proceeded to dominate the rest of the first half with two converted tries from Will Genia and Radike Samo and another Quade Cooper penalty goal. Scoring only three points before the half time break the All Blacks came out firing, holding majority of the possession throughout the remaining 40 minutes they boosted the scoreline to 20 all with 59 minutes on the clock. It took less than two minutes for the Wallabies to hit back with Digby Loane breaking the defensive line before offloading

Meghan Rutledge
wins Australian Women’s MX Championship 16-year-old Kawasaki rider Meghan Rutledge has taken the 2011 Australian Women’s MX Championship in a spectacular round win at Coolum over the weekend. In only her first year in senior competition, she took all five moto wins and even led by more than a minute in some races despite the extremely wet and muddy conditions. “I’m stoked to win, I can’t really put it any other way. I’m speechless,” said Rutledge. “I didn’t expect to be as dominant but after the first race when
I won by a fair bit, I just wanted to win every moto by as big a gap as I could.” Rutledge’s mechanic Ben Lane who normally crews for her male counterpart Dean Ferris on the Castrol-backed Monster Kawasaki team was extremely impressed with the 16-year-old’s efforts saying, “I’ve never seen anything like it! “Meghan’s style and the way she rides is unreal, especially for her age. She was probably the youngest one out there. It was definitely a good day. She made standing around in the rain worth it.”
