All bikes are rigorously tested during the ongoing production process. All components were thoroughly tested in our test centre of more than 400 m2 and meet the highest standards of quality and safety that far exceed the norm.
TEST WINNERS? WE MASS-PRODUCE THEM. We develop the best bicycles of our times. Countless test wins back up this claim – and we're still coming out first all the time.

1. INNOVATIVE DROPOUT The redesigned dropout is hollow forged using a state-of-the-art method. This makes it extremely sturdy and light. In addition, the improved stand integration and the "concealed" pannier rack mount looks very harmonious. The clean lines make for a tidier-looking bike.
2. “SMOOTH WELDED” The carefully produced aluminium welds on the head tube and seat tube are painstakingly filled and smoothed. The effect is impressive: extremely smooth transitions and a superb finish.
3. HYDROFORMED TRIPLE BUTTED FRAME For the frame, the aluminium tubes are formed in a complex process in an enclosed mould with the aid of a water/oil emulsion and an internal pressure of up to 3,000 bar. The controlled deformation of the frame tube enables us to produce up to three different wall thicknesses within the piece. Ultimately, the frame has optimal stability coupled with very low weight.
4. STRIKING HEAD TUBE The highly stable aluminium tube is shapely and immensely durable.
5. FILIGREE REAR TRIANGLE The elegant shape makes the bike look light and tidy.
6. FORGED CROSSBAR The shapely, slim crossbar sits between the seat stays, making the frame in the rear triangle especially stable. At the same time, it provides a strong hold for the completely new, concealed Kalkhoff pannier rack mount.

1. OPTIMISED MUDGUARD MOUNT Gone are the mudguard struts, which means no more bent struts. At the same time, the new, very tidy form improves the overall bike design.*

2. CONCEALED PANNIER RACK MOUNT The newly developed pannier rack mount is concealed under the mudguard. This maximises stability and makes for very clean design.*

The LED front light developed exclusively for Kalkhoff is extremely bright (80 Lux). Daytime running light and stand light maximise safety during both by day and at night.*
The handlebar grips, with their built-in screw connection, clamp to the handlebar, which makes it possible to customise the look of the bike. The result is greater safety and an especially harmonious overall design.*
