Thanks to special equipments – outcome of the internal engineering – OMET can namely carry out a set of tests on the products especially made for the order to define the resistance and the loads. As a function of the application typology the product will be destined to, it undergoes a trial with radial or axial load, testing resistance to a given number of runs and cycles.

With the “Linear Motion” set, OMET proposes itself to the market in a renewed and complete way, offering diversified solutions but all in line with a product philosophy that has some foundation principles: - easy assembly: all the rails are provided with fastening holes that avoid the assembler any set-up operation; in case the addition of supplementary holes is required on the rail, a special “reference groove” allows self-centering the point - compact dimensions: thanks to the inner sliding races of the rails, the coupling cursor-rail shows a compact design - lightness: the rails and the cursors are made of aluminum alloy, conferring the system an extreme lightness - reliability and long life: the extruded aluminum profiles are stabilized and anodized; in the models T,6002 and T,6003 the rails are made by coupling an aluminum-alloy support to hardened and ground steel bars, - cursor interchangeability: the cursors can be adapted in any rail of the same type and can be stocked separately to be ready for use when they are needed - accurate clearance adjustment: OMET supplies the system cursor-rail already with the most suitable adjustment as a function of the declared use features. In the assembly phase, the customer can intervene to adjust the clearance in simplicity.

SYSTEM OLM-A: Precision and stabilized rail of extruded aluminum alloy (lengths 1036, 1996 and 2956 mm) and cursor with 3 plastic-coated one-ball-crown bearings. Ideal for light motions and slow speeds (manual motions, light carters, small doors, accident-prevention guards).

Bearings, rolls and small wheels with different features as a function of the specific use.

From varnishing lines to cable-holding trolleys for cranes and to packaging-line benches: the uses are multiple in the bearing, roll and small-wheel industry to handle loads in air or gravity conveyors. And multiple are the solutions proposed by OMET for the different application needs. In the field of air conveyors, OMET realizes steel chrome and carbon bearings as a function of the loads and more or less hard and wearing uses. They can be ground and, on demand, undergo a surface finishing treatment (burnishing, zinc-coating, etc.). For the needs of gravity conveyors (e.g. conveyor belts), we use pressed metal sheet and plastic wheels or rolls with heads of pressed metal sheet with internal bearings – according to the cases with full filling or iron or nylon cage and if necessary coated - instead. OMET is able to work out the best solution under the profile of the ratio cost/performances, in that case thinking out custom-made products.

This type of rails accomplished structural functions. The aluminum extruded profiles are stabilized and anodized; the sliding bars are hardened and ground.
