SPORTS PROGRAMME SATURDAY 10 DECEMBER
@CaterhamSport
Dear Parents and Players, A very warm welcome to Caterham School. I hope that there are many closely fought encounters today and that all pupils involved go away enriched by their physical endeavours. While striving to win is vitally important, nothing is more important than the sportsmanship and friendship that makes sport so special and such an integral part of the education we offer to our pupils. With that said, I remind all of us that we are all responsible for ensuring that the pupils are supported at all times. Please let us all applaud good play from both teams, offer our congratulations to the victors but also acknowledge the efforts of the losers. I have no doubt that every pupil will give their all today and that each and every one of them deserve our praise and support. We hope that you enjoy the hospitality on offer today at Caterham. We aim to make you feel as welcome as possible and to give you the best possible experience of the school. If you are visiting our Hill Fields, please be patient as the building work on the new pavilion continues. Hopefully the next time you visit, it will be finished and you can enjoy our hospitality on a balcony overlooking the pitches. Yours in sport,

I would like to welcome St. Paul’s Girls’ School and Dunottar School as our opposition in the last fixtures of the term. The U14C will be playing Dunottar on Home Field at 9am to start off the day. Then at 10:00am our big block fixture against St Pauls will begin. This is always a fairly even competition with Caterham winning the 1st, 3rd, U15A, U14A, U12A and U12B matches and St. Paul’s victorious in the 2nd, U15B, U14B, U13A, U13B, U13C and U12C matches last year. Good luck to all girls involved and congratulations on a great first term of Lacrosse.
It is my pleasure to welcome boys, staff and parents from Hampton School and Eastbourne College for the final block rugby fixtures of the season at Caterham today. Both of these schools represent new fixtures for the school as we seek to grow the game and I am sure they will be fantastic contests played in superb spirit. All boys will be keen to put on a show for the supporters as they aim to round off their season playing some exciting rugby. The very best of luck to all involved.
