SPORTS PROGRAMME Saturday 18 March 2017

@CaterhamSport

Dear Parents and Players, A very warm welcome to Caterham School. I hope that there are many closely fought encounters today and that all pupils involved go away enriched by their physical endeavours. While striving to win is vitally important, nothing is more important than the sportsmanship and friendship that makes sport so special and such an integral part of the education we offer to our pupils. With that said, I remind all of us that we are all responsible for ensuring that the pupils are supported at all times. Please let us all applaud good play from both teams, offer our congratulations to the victors but also acknowledge the efforts of the losers. I have no doubt that every pupil will give their all today and that each and every one of them deserve our praise and support. We hope that you enjoy the hospitality on offer today at Caterham. We aim to make you feel as welcome as possible and to give you the best possible experience of the school. If you are visiting our Hill Fields, please be patient as the building work on the new pavilion continues. Hopefully the next time you visit, it will be finished and you can enjoy our hospitality on a balcony overlooking the pitches. Yours in sport, Rob Clarke Director of Sport

A message from the Head of Lacrosse Jen Simpson

A message from the Head of Hockey Robbert Schenk

This Saturday marks the end of the 2016-2017 lacrosse season. The U12As will travel away to Dulwich Prep for the Baston Rose Bowl Tournament, to take on teams from all over South East England. We are all looking forward to another great day of lacrosse. Good luck to the U12As, and a massive congratulations to the rest of the pupils on a fantastic lacrosse season.

This week I would like to Welcome KCS Wimbledon to Caterham. KCS Wimbledon always proves to be a competitive hockey block. Coming towards the end of this hockey term and seeing that our hockey has significantly developed brings not only me but all the coaches’ great joy. I am looking forward to see the results and more importantly the performances of this week’s block.

Already looking forward to September!

Good luck to all the boys and staff today.
