Los Gobiernos de Panamá y Finlandia, representados por la Autoridad Nacional del Ambiente (ANAM) y la Alianza Energía y Ambiente con Centroamérica (AEA), respectivamente, le invitan a participar del “Primer Encuentro de la Unión Europea con Latinoamérica en Energías Renovables” a realizarse del 9 al 11 de octubre de 2006 en el Hotel El Panamá en la Ciudad de Panamá. Objetivos •
Presentar la situación global de las energías renovables, motivando las acciones políticas y alianzas comerciales entre Europa y América Latina.

Facilitar el diálogo entre los sectores gubernamental y privado.
•
Creación de red de contactos para intercambio de información y fomentar la transferencia de conocimientos y tecnología.
•
Dar a conocer oportunidades de financiamiento para impulsar el Mecanismo de Desarrollo Limpio (MDL).

FORUM “European Union Meets Latin America on Renewable Energy” El Panamá Hotel, Panama City, October 9-11, 2006 The efficient use of the abundant natural resources, especially of the renewable energies, represents a great opportunity for the sustainable development of the Latin American countries. The Governs of Panama and Finland, represented by the National Authority of Environment of Panama and the Central American Alliance for Energy and Environment (AEA), respectively, are organizing the “First European Union Meets Latin America on Renewable Energies” to be held on October 9th to 11th, 2006 at the Hotel Panama in Panama City. Objectives •
Present the global situation of the renewable energies, motivating political actions and promotion of commercial alliances between Europe and Latin America.

Creation of contact networks for information exchange technology and know how transfer.
