Early Payment Discount

Families who pay the annual fee on or before the due date are entitled to a 5% discount. This is applied to the tuition fee amount after any other discounts, provided there are no other owing amounts.

Camps and Excursions

Students are expected to participate in camps and excursions. The cost of each camp/excursion will vary depending on the activity; however, these costs are in addition to the total fees and levies. The camp levies are billed with the school fees for parent convenience.

Withdrawal or Absence of Students

A full term’s notice in writing to the Principal must be given to withdraw a student from the college. Failure to provide full notice may result in the charge of a term’s fee. No refunds are available for student absence.

The Uniform Shop is located on campus in the Office Building. The opening times are listed below:

During the School Holidays, there will be additional opening times and parents will be notified of these. Full uniform lists and the uniform policy are available here on the school website. Please note the Uniform Shop is closed on Mondays and Thursdays in Term Three. 17

Uniform Fittings

For new students enrolling at Cathedral College Wangaratta, the Uniform Shop allocates a twoweek period towards the end of Term Four for uniform fittings. Parents/guardians of new students will be contacted to make a fitting time that best suits them within this period. Appointments generally take twenty minutes and the uniform is usually paid for and purchased at this time. Other arrangements can be made if needed and can be organised on the day. For fittings throughout the year, pre-booked appointments will be required.

Uniform and General Appearance

• The blazer is the formal outer garment and is to be worn during Winter and for formal school events • Hats are compulsory for all students in Terms One and Four. Middle and Senior School students may choose either the broad brimmed or bucket style hat, and the cap is available for Senior School students. • Students will be given two weeks transition at the beginning of Term Two and Term Four to wear either their full winter or full summer uniform. • Winter Shirts must be worn with the top button done up, with the tie must be done up fully at all times. • The length of skirts and dresses are to be mid knee length i.e. touching floor when kneeling.

Shoes must be clean and well-polished. • Hair should be tidy and well groomed. Extreme colours or coloured streaks as well as extreme styles are not permitted. Hair, which is shoulder length or longer, must be tied back and secured. • Earrings must be small, plain gold or silver sleepers or studs of not more than 3mm diameter.

Apart from a watch and earrings as described, no other jewellery is permitted. Only one earring in the lobe of the ear is permitted and nose or tongue studs and other forms of body piercing or visible tattoos are not permitted.

Sports Uniform

The sports uniform is designed for comfort and practicality and must be worn for all Physical Education classes and sporting activities. Cathedral College Wangaratta athletic tops (provided by the College) are worn when representing the school at Interschool or other external sporting competitions.
