WHO IS
Catholic Mission?
Catholic Mission is the Australian agency of the international Pontifical Mission Societies. Locally and globally, we answer the call to love God and love our neighbour, and work to establish the Reign of God through building communities of missionary disciples of Jesus who share their faith by proclaiming the Word, serving people in need, acting for justice and creation, and adopting child-focused development programs. Catholic Mission operates in over 160 countries to support initiatives in 1,100 dioceses, including remote Australia. Grassroots needs are identified by local Catholics, to give people the opportunity for a full, enriched life—physically and spiritually—regardless of race, stigma, religion or gender.

What will my gift support?
The gifts featured in this catalogue are representative of the life-changing projects around the world supported by Catholic Mission. By purchasing a Life-Giving Gift your donation will help fund a range of similar projects which support those in need. Gifts are split into two categories: tax-deductible and non-tax-deductible. Tax-deductible gifts support children and community projects such as food and water, health, education and social enterprise; while non-tax-deductible gifts support faith formation activities such as the training of novices, seminarians and catechists; the construction or renovation of church buildings; and children’s catechism.
