A meeting

Jesus loves you infinitely. Every day he gives you, and all his children, an extraordinary gift: the gift of his presence. He has been here, right here in this world of ours, every day for more than two thousand years. We call him Emmanuel, which means “God with us”.

God is all-powerful, and his glory is infinite. He could have chosen to appear in a thunder clap, surrounded by an army of angels. We would be dazzled by his beauty and we’d be scared of him! But instead, God prefers a gentle breeze. He loves us as our Father. He is all powerful in love. And so he has chosen to become very small so that we can come close to him, and see him.
