FUSED NEOPRENE EDGES Heat pressed neoprene edge for increased comfort and durability on our neoprene neck cuffs. NEOPRENE Neoprene is a blown rubber laminated with fabric lining. Stretch is determined by the amount of air in the neoprene and the stretch of the laminated lining. The stretch direction of the lining also influences stretch. LIMESTONE NEOPRENE Our neoprene is made out of Eco friendly limestone neoprene. Limestone neoprene wetsuits are always more flexible, light, have exceptional thermal insulation with high stretch. This makes our wetsuits easy to take off, they have less drag and increased buoyancy for increased performance in above watersports. The maximum elongation of our high-grade neoprene is close to 500%, while human skin stretches to around 70%. This makes our wetsuits the most free moving wetsuits available. LIMESTONE NEOPRENE, REACH COMPLIANT This means we have achieved to ban the use of extender oils in our neoprene sheets for a better environment. PAH neutral neoprene has improved characteristics such as weight, stretch and it prevents skin irritation that could be caused by extender oil residues or solvent containing glues and complies with the most strict rules for Restrict of Chemicals (Reach) as regards to polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. AIRFLEX NEOPRENE We feature three types of Airflex neoprene. 300+, 500% and 550+ stretch. Airflex neoprene is made out of limestone neoprene and by changing the formula of the foaming agents we can determine the stretch in our raw material. Laminating with the different backings is determing the final flex of the panels. EXACT FIT AND OPTIMUM INSULATION Precise seam and material placement for a tailored fit. Designed to fit your body without over-stretching the neoprene, which prevents stretched out thin neoprene and loss of thermal insulation.

GLUED AND BLINDSTITCHED SEAMS Triple glued panels are stitched together with a special stitching method. Partially puncturing the neoprene to keep the water tightness of the wetsuit seam. Each thread is protected by a tape at the end. Our perfect finish makes our glued and blind stitched wetsuit indestructible. 4D NEOPRENE This material offers enormous stretch possibilities, a high wear outer surface and in combination with our aqua flow lining the softest material selection possible.

NEOLIGHT DUOTONE 550+ NEOPRENE A Two tone fabric gives a different look to our product. Besides looks the extra yarns offer a softer, more stretch and a smooth feel to the outer lining. Always combined with the Airflex 500+ innerlining, this wetsuits are using the best possible blend on the market.

AQUA FLOW LINING Water and wetsuits are closely connected with eachother. Water should go in a wetsuit and adapt to the human body temperature. Aqua flow lining channels the water away from the body, keeping the suit warmer, lighter and easier to dry.

ZODIAC LINING Velvet feel on the inside, provided by high tech woven lining which absorbs the water from the skin and increases comfort.

FTM SEAM FTM, our Fluid Taping Method seam construction. Triple glued seams with the outside of the seam sealed of by a wider black carbon neoprene seal. The inside of seam is protected by our glued and blind stitched technology. FTM seams are durable, watertight and keep high stretch.

POWERSEAM (PATENTED TECHNOLOGY) A unique technology. Colored thin slick looking seams are triple glued and sealed off on one or both sides with a liquid rubber seal. The liquid seal reinforces the seams and prevent any water leakage. The advantage: Thin, colored, high wear resistant, watertight, super stretch seams and the ability to use it on skin surfaces.

History: By adding in more seam shape in our boots& shoes we found out that it did not gave us better fit. The reason; we were using the same last as all our competitors! The Alloy casted lasts determines the shape and fit of neoprene footwear. A neoprene sock is mounted around the last and rubber parts are joined together. The last goes into the oven for the rubber parts to cure, moulding all exactly around the last. Solution: Realizing this we started the search for a better last. We found out that there are no lasts made for active water sports . All lasts available in the market are made for multi purpose usage; like for waders boots or fishing purposes which are static shaped profiles. That made us to decide to built the best last possible for active water sports. Together with a Orthopedic specialist we analyzed different feet and came up with complete new last designs. In the design we incorporated the stretch of the materials, water influence and the dynamic positions of the feet during active water sport. Your feet are made of 26 bones and 214 ligaments! They need proper support! Also during active water sports.

Neoprene wetsuits have remained unchanged since its original concept. This concept being a thin layer of water insulated between your body and the wetsuit. Body temperature is transferred into this water and insulted from surrounding weather conditions. Seals on cuffs, collar and zipper ensure that an excess of water does not enter the wetsuit. WIND-CHILL The human body loses heat largely through conduction and convection. The rate of heat loss depends on the wind speed over the surface, the faster the wind speed, the more readily the surface cools. By using a 1st layer (innersystem garment), water will remain against your skin and resist excess water entering. Added thickness and insulation contributes to extra warmth and wind-chill will have a minimal cooling effect. Comfort and manoeuvrability will also increase as the wetsuit and innersystem garment slide frictionless over each other. PROLIMIT INNRSYSTEMS are made out of thin Limestone based neoprene. A high heat reflective Titanium layer optimizes heat retention.

We continuously research the latest board shapes and dimensions and design our boardbags to fit these boards. We allow for extra width in the tail-end to adapt to the board thickness and footstraps but also extend te inside of the boardbag by 5 cm for a perfect fit. The size of the board, fits the boardbag.

We use different materials and simple solutions to everyday problems so we can assure our bags protect your gear in the best way possible.

BOOM TECHNOLOGY At Prolimit we take building booms seriously. Wave, Slalom, Freestyle, Freerace and Race sails all have different sail cambers and balance points along the boom. We have worked on using the right UIC boom bend curve for each size and discipline, allowing for overlap between disciplines either way.

Our smaller booms use a wave bend curve which favours an overhand grip for the front hand and suits the camber forwards design of sails in this range. Our bigger booms favour a more camber rearwards bend curve. The race oriented models combine this bend curve with wider back-ends to suit even the most radical deep camber race sails.

MATERIAL ENGINEERING Material use has been fine tuned to give the best combo of stiffness, durability, feedback and price. From aluminium tube, aluminium V-grip to carbon, these combinations result in the right boom for the right application.

FRONT END Our much copied front end still sets a standard for solid stability and easy of use. The no flex design will still be solid years down the line.

Our V-grip boom. This extruded profile aluminium tube sets the standard for stiffness and comfort in smaller diameter booms. The tapered and ovalised inside section of the boom is more ergonomic than a circular section, reducing fatigue and arm pump.
