WELCOME TO THE SALE
Welcome to the 2023 edition of the Great Lakes Beef Connection Sale. We are really pleased with how the bulls are developing and we are excited to see you at our Open House or Sale Day. The sale will feature over 100 SimAngus and Simmental bulls and three fancy open heifers. We have beefed up our embryo transfer program and this year sale contains the largest selection of embryo transfer calves to date who come from our very best females.
We appreciate all your prior support to our program and want to do whatever it takes in order to earn your business. From a performance testing standpoint, we work extremely hard at gathering all the actual weights on our bulls and set up the most accurate contemporary groups. As always, every animal in the sale sells with genomically enhanced EPDs in order to increase the accuracy of our animals EPDs. This year will be the third year all the animals will have the RightChoice information on them in the sale. We believe in the system and alongside the RightMate information the programs have increased uniformity and quality of the offering. Likewise, WE WILL DELIVER the bulls for reasonable rates anywhere across the United States. Ultimately, we strive to deliver the best product and want nothing more but to earn your business for years to come.
We hope the new year finds you and your family well. We along with all cattlemen are excited about the optimism the new year brings. High feeder cattle prices are predicted the further we push into the new year, and the ample moisture the western states are receiving is an encouraging sign. Feel free to stop by anytime to view the cattle on the sale.
Blessings, The Great Lakes Beef Connection Crew
