We want to welcome you to the Genetic Edge XXVI Sale, and especially thank our past customers and our members. This year is unique in that we will be having the Genetic Edge Sale “Waco Edition” with plans for normalacy in the future! Our 2021 Genetic Edge Sale will be offering both Red and Black Brangus with the opportunity to buy some of the best genetics in Brangus from these outstanding Breeders. Many of our consignors have put some of their best genetics in this year’s offering to show the high quality of cattle they are raising in their program. Many of these cattle come to you right from the breeders show string and as you well know they only put their best in the show string. One of the Special Offerings in the Genetic Edge Sale is always the Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Bull and Female from The International Show offered as Lot 2. Lot 2, Own a Champion is left up to the owner of the champion, but in the past some have sold an interest in the bulls, either a semen interest or breeding share, and on the female side a flush or embryo interest in the champion females. We believe this gives the serious breeder the opportunity to own some of the best genetics in Red Brangus and Black Brangus. Breeders trying to improve your herd, or build a herd should look closely at this lot. Lot 2 also gives our foreign customers an opportunity to buy a semen interest in the Champions, or be able to possibly buy an embryo interest or flush. The success of our breeders has always been one of our goals. Years ago the Sale Committee decided to add non-haltered animals to the sale, which allows us to be able to offer donors and herd sires on video. We have had several lots from past sales go on to win Grand and Reserve Champions and even win the prestigious show heifer of the year award. Plan to be at the Genetic Edge Sale and take full advantage of this opportunity to build a herd from the selection of these top genetics. We will also be televising our entire sale on DVAuction so breeders from around the world can participate if they are unable to attend. Go to www.DVAuction.com to create an account and request a buyer’s number prior to sale day. It takes a couple of days to get approved and get your buyers number, so don’t wait, get your account opened prior to sale day. With these cattle we are confident you can improve your Herd and move your program forward. We look forward to seeing you at the sale and if we can answer any questions, please call. A special thanks to Lea Stokes of The Horseshoe Group who for many years has produced our catalog and helped us with pictures. We are very pleased to have American Marketing Service (AMS) help us with the sale. Mark Cowan, Trey Kilpatrick and Richard Hood bring a lot of experience and they know how to sell cattle and get breeders to consign the best of their herds. We all look forward to seeing you at the Genetic Edge Sale! —Don Cox, Genetic Edge Sale Chairman

Ms DMR Three D 99E4, an up-and-coming donor female in our herd that is sure to stand the test of time. She is sired by the Three D bull and out of one of the most consistent daughters of the Nuff Said bull that we’ve seen. Progeny from her first flush turned plenty of heads in the CDP Brangus bull sale earlier this month. Ms DMR Three D 415E18, one of the exciting Three D daughters out of the 415A7 cow, she is also fast becoming a top end donor in our herd. She averages 10+ embryos per flush and is stamping her progeny with the depth, thickness and eye appeal that we require in our donor females and herd sires. Ms Salacoa Atlanta 30B6
MS SALACOA ATLANTA 30B6
Ms Salacoa Atlanta 30B6 is a full sister full to 30B5, the dam of 30D and Broadway. She is the result of a flush we purchased from 101 Ranch in one of their first sales of 30T94.We sold 2 full brothers for $13,250 and her full sister, 30B5, was the pick of her calf crop. She sold at SEBBA as a pick to T3 for $15,000. Fortune smiled on T3 as 30B5 went on to produce the $67,500 T3 Broadway, who sold to ST in the fall of 2018 and the $65,000 T3 Ms Three D 30D who sold in this sale last spring. Unfortunately, T3 lost her sister at a young age, leaving 30B6 as the lone genetic package to carry the legacy forward. She and her siblings are sired by the Super Star of Balance, Atlanta. She is massively constructed, deep bodied and super attractive. She records EPDs ranking in the breed's top 30% for an impressive 10 traits including top 5% IMF, 15% REA and WW, 20% YW, 30% Milk, 10% Terminal Index and top 20% Fertility Index. Her son by Roswell sold for $5,000 last spring and we have Never Surrender calves on the ground and more ET's underway. As an added bonus she sells with a powerful Big Town heifer calf at side who projects 10 EPD traits ranking in the breed's top 25% or greater. Selling full interest and full possession.

Lot 8 Choice of Spring 2021 Calf Crop from Buffaloe Cattle Buffaloe Cattle has raised Red Brangus Cattle since a Geronimo Son 13/6 was added to our herd in 1986. By 1995, our herd consisted exclusively of IRBBA registered Red Brangus. At the first Genetic Edge Sale I, Wilma and Bruce Buffaloe were the high volume buyers and infused Cox Excalibur and Sureway’s genetics into the herd. These foundation cattle families are still at work in our herd and in many other breeder’s herds in Red Brangus. Cow families from CX which influenced our success were 71, 77, 101, 307 (307/B Cow and CX Powerman), 314, 847 (CX Chief Cardinal) and 135 (CX Home Run). Sureway’s cow families were 008, 124, 212, 227 (Rocky Street), and 246. Triangle K provided the 3011 cow family via 5 embryos purchased at Genetic Edge V Sale in 1999 and 901(TK Highway). In addition, our own genetics have made and impact in Red Brangus via many bulls and heifers but most notably, the Superman 101U bull whose dam was generated by Buffaloe Cattle, via CX /Vineyard genetics. His semen is still in demand 13 years after his birth. We appreciate these breeder’s contributions to Red Brangus and Buffaloe Cattle. We continue to offer some of the highest quality genetics to Red Brangus breeders and we are opening our herd for your selection of a calf from the 2021 Spring Calf Crop. Whether you are a Black or Red Brangus breeder, you will appreciate this bred heifer, Ms Salacoa Tinseltown 803G. She is moderate in stature, very feminine and an easy fleshing machine, even in the kind of year we have had. She is sired by the $42,000 Tinseltown and her dam is a Lee daughter out of a full sister to Griese. Two maternal brothers by Big Town have averaged $12,250 in past sales. 803G records an impressive 11 EPD traits ranking in the breed's top 30% including top 10% IMF, 15% Terminal Index, 20% WW and YW, 25% REA and CED and top 30% BW and Fertility Index. Whether you choose to breed her Red or Black, her numerical matings will be a pleasure. She comes to Genetic Edge, 7.5 months bred to CX MR Dream Forever 45/E1, a new herd bull we are using because of his moderate, thick and wide body. He reminds us of Home Run because when he is in the pasture breeding he maintains his weight and shows high libido. Selling full interest and full possession and if she has a red calf, Cox Excalibur would like the opportunity to purchase that calf. Breeding: Bred to CX Mr Dream Forever 45/E1, RR10375519, 7.5 months safe

Welcome from the Sale Manager We are delighted to be invited to again work with the Genetic Edge Sale in a brand-new location, Waco, Texas at the Heart of Texas fairgrounds. The site of the Brangus breed’s 2021 International Show. We are back on the same schedule as normal with a Saturday night sale following the day’s show activities. We will sell cattle on Saturday March 27 at 7 pm in the Extraco Events Center in Waco Texas. A Social Hour will precede the sale at 6 pm in the same rooms.
We will once again feature the sale of those newly crowned International Champions who choose to participate and will provide our buyers with an opportunity to capture those cutting-edge Brangus genetics fresh off their recent wins. The quality runs deep and is unmatched in any single sale in the breed, and as evidenced by past averages, any sale at the International of any breed in the U.S. The leading genetics in the pages of this catalog represent true buying opportunities to move your ranch and your programs ahead of the competition and to accelerate your progress by leaps and bounds. Please take time to study the offering, look at the donors, and consider the far-reaching impact they can have. Pay special attention to the flushes and embryo packages selling. A willing buyer could own these select genetics and position their program for domination in the coming years. Particularly study the bred heifers (we have more than any past sale) and the open heifers in the offering and consider the fact that several ET heifers selling are out of open heifers sold in this sale in the past, who became donors for their new owners.
We are excited about being in Waco for this year’s International show and for the 26th annual Genetic Edge sale. Free parking close to the show arena and to the sale site and as much room as we need to host and seat all attendees for this year’s sale are just a few of the amenities we think you will enjoy. Please join us for the social and hors d'oeuvres at 6 pm followed by The Genetic Edge Sale. This year’s sale will feature the most powerful set of donors, picks of the herds, picks of the calf crop, embryos, flushes and bred heifers from across the nation both haltered and non-haltered to be assembled in one sale. These are genetics that are not available in any other setting, all selling on video at the Extraco Center at 7 pm Saturday in Waco, Texas.
We invite you to join us in Waco for the Genetic Edge Sale March 27 and to participate in good fun and fellowship.

Ms DMR Crossfit 415H combines the lineage from two of the most highly sought-after sires in the Brangus breed in recent history. The Cross Fit bull needs no introduction as he has become a staple in the industry, siring sons and daughters that consistently press the scales at weaning Ms DMR Empire 415G • Maternal Sister to 415E18 and yearling, and light up the ultrasound screen with carcass value, all in an eye appealing, functional package. The Three D bull is equally, if not more popular breed-wide, stamping his progeny with the depth of body, overall dimension, and softness that we all desire in our Brangus cattle. The gentle disposition, moderate frame score, and easy fleshing ability that comes with Three D progeny are all characteristics that cowboy’s and cowgirl’s around the world have fallen in love with, and for good reason. The dam of 415H, Ms DMR Three D 415E18 is fast making her way to the top of the donor herd at Draggin’ M Ranch. She calved at 23 months of age with her first AI calf and was immediately moved into the donor pasture where she has averaged 10+ embryos per flush and just sold her first set of ET sons this spring to gross over $30,000 with many more selling next fall and in the future. It should come as no surprise considering who she’s sired by that she is moderate in her frame size, deep sided and thick made, all while staying really feminine through her front one-third. She makes a perfect udder and stands on a perfect foot with plenty of heel and bone.
John Milam El Dorado, Arkansas 870-314-3673
Ms DMR Crossfit 415H granddam stems from is none other than the famed Ms DMR Coronado 415A7, who has generated more dollars worth of progeny in her short life than almost any cow that has grazed our pastures. She is the dam of the $51,000-Ms DMR Beacon 415E133 female, the $32,000 Ms DMR Empire 415G female, the $56,000 DMR Domain 415G35, the $20,000 DMR Full Throttle THROTTLE 415E41 bull, with many more front end range bulls sold and replacement heifers retained. Her total gross progeny sales are fast approaching the $300,000 mark. When you step back and take a look at the genetic opportunity that we’re presenting to you here, it becomes an easy decision to add this great young donor prospect to your herd. Phenotypically, she checks all of the boxes that we look for when evaluating our future donors. She is long in her design, square in her make-up, stout made, with an abundance of rib shape and depth while maintaining the feminine front end that ties the whole package together. Ms DMR Crossfit 415H is becoming exactly what she was bred to be. Phenotypically flawless and genetically unmatched, make her a part of your donor herd and take your program to the next level.

What do all of these past champions have in common? They are linked to the genetics in our donor program at Red Bud Farms. We continue to work diligently to assemble and stockpile the best genetics in the Red Brangus breed. Our primary focus is producing cattle that perform in a commercial setting while maintaining the phenotype fellow breeders want and desire. Our donor selection process has developed maternal lines capable of producing cattle that can enter the show ring or move into a production herd to add a top end genetic piece. Red Brangus breeders need no introduction to the 175, 821, 328, 14 or 225 cow families. Three out of four of the animals in the last three Grand and Reserve Champion drives at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo share lineage with our donors. In addition, all of the animals selected with our Annual “Pick of the Litter” are ET or direct daughters of Red Bud Farms donor cows. When choosing donors, all of these families are available with multiple family members. Offering the right to flush or IVF any 3 Red Bud Farms owned female. Guaranteeing 15 embryos.
