The donor dam of these embryos was our selection in the 2015 Ideal Video Customer Appreciation Sale from Cavender Ranch. The 2 cow family remains one of the most fertile and productive cow families at Cavender’s. Her first two heifer calves sold averaged $21,500 and are maternal sister to the embryos selling. The sire of these embryos is the proven calving ease sire, Strategy, owned by Draggin M and Salacoa Valley. Strategy records 8 EPD traits ranking in the breed’s top 35% or greater including top 2% Milk and top 15% CED and BW. He was Salacoa Valley’s $39,000 choice in the 2016 Chimney Rock Sale. In terms of proven value and return on investment, these embryos have to rank near the top in anyone’s selection criteria.
