OWelcome from Compass Ranch

Our dams must be sound from the ground up as well. They must have great udders and be able to maintain their condition throughout the year.

These bulls have been and will continually be fed with responsibility to ensure longevity.

We will semen test March 1st and if there are any problems with your bull at that time of year your money will be fully refunded. Delivery will commence April 1st, 2025.

n behalf of my family here at Compass Ranch we would like to welcome you to our annual bull sale. This is a family run operation where everyone involved plays an important roll in our program.

It’s been a busy year here on the ranch to say the least! To add to our usual workload of haying, silaging and looking after cattle, most of the summer involved the crew preparing for Maddy and Riley’s wedding. It was held on August 24th on the ranch in Cochrane.

We have on offer 25 bulls from the top of the program. When selecting the bulls for this sale I use the same old saying - “If I wouldn’t buy the bulls for myself, they are not offered for sale here today”. We here at Compass Ranch take very careful consideration when selecting our sires and dams. The sires must have excellent feet and be correct in their structure. We also select bulls for their natural muscle mass, doability and temperament, but most of all they must have a great dam.

We also have a select group of fancy replacement heifers from our friends and past customers for sale. They will sell in groups of three with the option to take more if so desired.

All the cattle will be on display at the Cochrane ranch until Dec 7 th and then at the Medicine Hat Ranch from December 8 until sale time. Come for lunch at noon on the 14th!

From everyone here at Compass Ranch
