W elcome to our annual Creek’s Edge Charolais Bull Sale. First and most importantly, we would like to thank all of our customers that have supported us over the last 18 years of selling bulls. Your loyalty to our program is what motivates us to always select top herd sires and females that produce bull calves that will perform well for you.

This year we are once again o ering a consistent set of bulls.

There are many ½ and ¾ brothers that exhibit the characteristics we strive for. All of our walking bulls are excellent footed and calve extremely well. We try to raise bulls that are naturally muscled and heavy hipped. Traits that help our customers achieve top notch feeder calves.

We are extremely hard on our cow herd and are constantly culling cows and developing cows that are easy doing, sound and have excellent udder qualities. We breed these cows for 3 cycles and focus on the most fertile of the group.

This year we have chosen a new sales format. We spent some time researching the DLMS Farmgate Timed Auction and decided this way of selling bulls would be a great fit for us and would provide our customers with a bull buying experience that includes all the benefits of an auction with some really nice features added in. With the Farmgate timed auction the bulls pictures, videos and information can all be viewed by going to www.dlms.ca and clicking on Farmgate Timed Auctions. The sign up is free and easy. Once signed in, you can view our bull o ering and create a favourites list so you can keep a closer eye on this group of bulls during the sale. You can bid on multiple bulls at one time and will get notified by text or email if you have been outbid. There is also the option to place max bids on di erent bulls and the system will bid for you in $100 increments. There is a full list of instructions for the online auction in this catalogue and there is help available at all times if you encounter problems when using the timed auction system. The bidding will start at 9:00 am on Wednesday, March 15 and will start closing at 6:00 pm on Thursday, March 16.

We welcome you to the farm to view the bulls anytime including March 15 & 16th. Please also plan to attend our Open House and Bull Viewing on Saturday, March 11 from 11-5pm. Lunch will be served along with co ee, donuts and snacks throughout the day. Proper nutrition and herd health in our bull program is top priority! We work closely with a nutritionist and veterinarian to ensure the bulls are developed in a healthy way so they are ready to work and breed successfully.
