Welcome to the Creek’s Edge Charolais Annual Bull Sale. This long running sale of 18+ years will be presented in a new sale format this year, moving to a DLMS FarmGate Online Timed Auction. The sale format may have changed, but the exceptional quality of the bulls that you have come to know and expect from the Creek’s Edge program has not, with the 2023 sale o ering featuring exciting herd bulls that will add growth, performance and payweight to your calf crop. If you have never purchased from the Creek’s Edge program before, you can do so confidently. Stephen & Kristen stand behind the bulls they have featured in their o ering.

When you look at the Creek’s Edge program, you can’t help but admire their foundation females which are the heart of their herd. The maternal strength, type, style and consistency throughout their cowherd is something that many programs strive to achieve. These females are sound, feminine females with excellent udder structures and exceptional fertility to top it o . They are truly foundation females! You will see a lot of the females with their picture inset beside their son; looking at the results of what these females are raising, it is a true testimony to the strength of what these cows can do!

We all know that females are half of the equation in a breeding program, that the herd bull battery has to bring something to the table to achieve high quality o spring. Stephen & Kristen are very well in tuned with what their cows can do, and they select herd sires that possess calving ease, growth and performance traits that are sound, correct in confirmation with excellent feet and legs so they can travel. You can see the result in the following pages, of the outcome of their genetic selection and mating choices. The bull pen is exciting, and if you are fortunate to see the replacement pen, it is equally as exciting as well. The quality of the bulls from top to bottom in the o ering is consistent. You can rest easy knowing that the bulls featured in the sale o ering have been selected and scrutinized to meet the highest standards, possessing qualities and traits that the bulls will go out and work for the programs that select them. They have been bred and developed to work, which helps when making a sound investment decision for the producer that is selecting a bull(s) for their program. We can also tell you, that these bulls have a nice temperament. We had the pleasure of picturing and videoing the bulls with the Wielgosz kids working the pen, who are between the ages of 6-15, with ease and calm. This operation is a true family a air, and if that doesn’t speak to the docile nature of the bulls, I am not sure what will.
