The Goodridge 4-H Beef Club is pleased to present all of our club members, and their projects, to our communities. We are tremendously proud of the members for their community involvement, their willingness to continually grow their skills; for not only their projects, but public speaking, and leadership within our club, and community. This year our club has 19 members and 5 Cleaver members. We have heifer, steer, and cow/calf projects, which we are so excited to showcase on our club achievement day. We would like to thank all of our parents, volunteers, sponsors, and community members who made our entire year a success. We truly appreciate all of your efforts!

I want to support a 4-H member! How do I buy a steer?
1. Talk to your member about a sale plan! Learn how much the member is hoping to receive, so that you have a good understanding of the cost.
2. Buy a steer on sale day. Bid in person, or online at www.dlms.ca (see page 11 for details) All steers are weighed on sale day. You pay a price per pound. Pay by cheque at the sale, or send in the mail ASAP if purchased online (Insurance is available upon purchase)
3. Steer is delivered, processed, and packaged. All Goodridge steers are booked with an abattoir on June 12.
4. Pick your cuts! Pick the cuts of beef and package sizes according to your preferences.
5. Pick up & Enjoy!
In approx. 2 weeks, pay your processing fee, pick up your frozen beef, and enjoy! Just in time for BBQ season!
If you would like to support a member, but cannot afford to buy a whole beef, it is likely there is someone else who would like to do the same thing; arrangements can be made to split the beef with another supporter!

How to participate in the St. Paul District 4-H Beef Sale

1. IN PERSON. Join us at the St. Paul Ag Corral on Monday June 3, 2024. The auction begins following the Parade of Champions.
2. VIRTUAL. Visit www.dlms.ca and fill out the registration forms located under “Registration” and sign-up for your free user account to select a user name and password. To be approved as a Bidder, log in and click the “Buyer Approval” tab. Then, select the sale you are interested in bidding at and click “Sign Up.”
