Welcome to our 15th Annual Production Sale
Well, 2024 is behind us with a number of challenges. It’s always disappointing to see the crops dwindle away in the heat we had last summer. However, we made it through with enough feed and some encouraging things happening on the cattle front. We pulled more than usual numbers out of our bull offering to use in our own herd so sale numbers are down a bit, but we are still committed to producing quality ranch cattle with the hair and performance we think is necessary to move the cattle business where it needs to go. These are hands off ranch cattle that will thrive in a host of conditions, whether or not they are optimal.
We encourage you to watch the videos on DLMS, and if you are not able to attend the sale in person you can bid online or be in touch with us.
Lunch will be served beginning at 11:30 am on sale day with the sale at 1:00 pm MST. Come early to view the cattle and discuss what you need or want for your herd.

We purchased 10F largely to produce the cows that we would like to have in our herd. From what we have seen to date, it was a good move. We know a good deal about the great females behind him. We refer to him as the “big bull” and he’s moving and acting like a youth. 10F has good depth of body and extreme length.
We purchased 3F largely on the strength of the females behind him. He’s developed into a thick, easy fleshing sire. We are happy with his results to date. WLN Reference Sire March 22, 2018BW: 99WW: 750YW: 1240

This bull has about as much performance as we have. As we’re writing this (about Christmas time) he tips the scale at a ton with scrotal development of 41cm. Although we could probably go back and get it done, this bull is not registered because his mother was accidentally deleted from the herd and we didn’t go through the hassle of putting her back. He has a great pedigree with 38B on the top and 57Y on the bottom at the cow side. Not to mention that 18H, the Calgary Champion is his sire.

HOLLOW 10F TANYA 66L
WLN 66L is another 10F daughter from the Cracker Jack line. This one is short marked with lots of pigment. There are a lot of things we like about this heifer. We would love to calve her out and see what she can do. Service to BXC 132K from June 15 to August 20, 2024.
HOLLOW 146F KATHY 124L
This heifer is from the 5B line. We used 146F because of his extreme length and 124L is also from a very productive 38B daughter. Service to BXC 132K from June 15 to August 20, 2024.
HOLLOW 147E BUHLA 145L
This feature heifer is from WLN 147E. They are just really good cattle. The dam is from the Gunner line. Service to BXC 32K from June 15 to August 20, 2024 is a feature.
HOLLOW 10F TANYA 178L

This is the second year we have used 32K on heifers. We are very happy with his first crop. He has produced one of our strongest sire groups and all out of first calf heifers. 32K is a nice, blocky short marked bull.

This is the second year we have used 132K on heifers. We used him heavily both years but it didn’t appear to hold him back as he stands right with his peers. There is great length in this bull.
