I’ve always been told to buy your herd bulls on the strength of their mommas. Well, this guy’s dam is one of the best. She’s headed for the flush pen this summer. Thirty plus years of breeding and raising bulls, I’d put this strapping lad up against anything we’ve ever raised. And we raised some pretty damn good FB Simmentals. Turn this guy loose on a group of Angus cows and sit back and watch the $$ roll in. When he’s done, throw him on a halter and go win some banners! A happy, hairy, big-nutted meat wagon.

Lazlo 1L has been a standout since birth. He is a fabulous combination of calving ease and performance! This bull has an excellent muscle pattern, with a wide top and hip. His sire, Bell M Sweet Tooth 10H has been breeding well for us the last few years. His dam, Prospect Hill Stage Show 7J did an excellent job raising her first calf. With a BW of 81 and unassisted out of a heifer, we feel he will be suitable for use on heifers. If you are looking to breed those beautiful blue or red roans, he is up for the job. Heterozygous polled and DNA tests all came back clean. Check out this meat machine on sale day!

White Lightning 3L is a favorite around here with very high EPD’s for calving ease and excellent genetics on both sides. His dam, Silverline Suzy 2C is an ET calf from an embryo purchased from Horseshoe Creek Shorthorns. He has a great disposition and is a carbon copy of his sire, Saskvalley Gump 285G. I just can’t say enough good about the Gump calves who have great performance and are early maturing. If you are looking to produce your own beautiful, fertile roan females take a look at this guy! If we didn’t have so many in the herd related to him, he would not be for sale. We are retaining in-herd semen use, but are hoping to get him collected before sale day. He is halter broke, heterozygous polled, and DNA tests all came back clean.

Lucky Leo 17L is a son of Bell M Sweet Tooth 10H that bred very well for us at Silverline. 10H has high calving ease and his offspring have been really stylish. Leo is filled out in all the right places, and is sure to add pounds to his calves. Coming from one of our top cow lines, the MacQueens, he has very strong maternal traits behind him. Leo really checks a lot of boxes and has a style of his own. He is horned (they have been removed), and DNA tests all came back clean. Watch for his video coming out late March - we are sure you will like him! This deep, soggy bull is built right and has herd sire written all over him!
