HAPPY LEAP YEAR! Hello, dear friends and family; I think I may have officially broken my record for latest holiday greetings ever, but I’ve decided that especially in this day of Facebook and email it’s still important to send something tangible once a year. Corey designed the “infographic” on the front to summarize the year for us. If she can’t get a job with an architecture firm when she graduates in May, at least she’s got fabulous graphic art skills to fall back on! The photo above was taken on a vacation to our friend Tom’s condo in Breckenridge in July. Brett’s soccer buddy Eric tagged along with us to provide him company until Luke flew in from the Dominican Republic. He was there for about a week with his church youth group, providing landscaping and painting for a school there, and playing with the kids during free times. Both boys are still playing soccer. Brett, 15, just got his driver’s license yesterday (the last one!!) and Luke is starting to look ahead at colleges. They’ll be gone before I know it. We spent Christmas in Seattle this year, and Connor and Sierra came down and then drove back to Boise with us. We all got to see my parents for a couple days, who were visiting from Juneau. Today (February 4) is my dad’s 90th birthday! My mom will turn 90 on April 1, and I’ll see them again in Houston in May at my niece Monica’s wedding. They celebrated their 65th anniversary in September, and I went to Juneau in July for the party with all eleven of my siblings and assorted other relatives. Have a great 2012!
