Kerianne and Aaron at Park

Kerianne and Aaron might have swiped right when they were first introduced on Tinder but noticed each other around Penn State University’s campus. Aaron confessed that Kerianne was hard to miss, and after exchanging phone numbers, texting for a few days, they decided to meet up for dinner at Primanti Brothers. “My first impression of Kerianne was that she had a great sense of humor. She spilt her entire glass of water all over me during our first date, but laughed it off almost immediately,” Aaron shared. Aaron made quite the first impression on Kerianne too. While she took notice of his piercing blue eyes, she quickly admired his drive and intelligence.

Fast-forward about three years later. Aaron had a belated birthday surprise planned for the evening of June 14, 2019. While getting ready, Kerianne was informed the surprise had to be rescheduled for the following day due to inclement weather. Instead, the couple went for dinner and drinks with friends that evening, which kept Kerianne from asking any further questions. The next day, Kerianne and Aaron woke up bright and early, drove an hour and a half to Clinton, NJ, for a hot air balloon ride just after sunrise. Once in the air, the pilot asked Kerianne to peek over the side of the balloon, where a “Will you marry me?” banner stretched across the ground. At that very moment, Kerianne turned to find Aaron on one knee proposing with a two-carat oval center stone with one-carat halo and diamond white gold band. The engaged couple then celebrated with their families over brunch and mimosas.

Guests were invited to the couple’s August 6, 2021 nuptials with custom invitations. Lace and Belle created a classic suite, including a blind debossed monogram and traditional verbiage letterpress printed in black ink for the main invitation. The suite was wrapped in blush pink belly bands with the venue sketch printed in white and was nestled inside blush envelopes with a floral liner.

Kerianne and Aaron wanted their guests to feel as if they’d been whisked away to a French countryside surrounded by beautiful gardens and timeless architecture. Park Château Estate and Gardens delivered for a picture- perfect setting. The couple loved the idea of getting married in the on-site chapel, which made the transition to cocktail hour and the dinner reception smooth and effortless. “The service we received was exceptional. We were treated like royalty. The staff was so organized, attentive, professional, and encouraging. Our day ran so smoothly, and we didn’t have to lift a finger or ask for anything, as the staff was ten steps ahead of us, prepared for anything. Every single aspect about the Park Château is truly exquisite,” the couple raved.

FLORAL AFFAIR

Crest Florist brought her French countryside idea to life through lush florals in neutral hues throughout the property. In the chapel, two large wooden columns with white urns and large floral arrangements were placed at the top of the altar and at the back row, while assorted cylinder vases in various heights with pillar candles lined the aisle, along with a 48-foot-long green garland.

ROMANTIC TABLE SETTINGS

Lush florals made of three different designs continued in the reception room. Rectangular tables included an eight-foot bridge of flowers on tall gold stands paired with floating candles, pillar candles, and votives. The circular tables alternated between tall gold stands and clear bowls with coordinating florals and candlelight. Flowers consisted of white hydrangea, stock, lisianthus, playa blanca roses, snowflake spray roses, quicksand roses, eucalyptus, and ruscus.
